Teriyaki Pork Chops


  • 4 x large Specially Selected Pork chops – approx 300g each
  • 100ml soy sauce
  • 100ml water
  • Juice x 1 lime
  • 15g peeled fresh ginger
  • 4 x gloves garlic
  • 1 x flat tsp chilli flakes
  • 40ml white wine vinegar
  • 30g brown sugar
  • 10g sesame seeds
  • 35ml rapeseed oil
  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan
  2. Sauté the pork chops on both sides for 3 to 4 minutes to colour
  3. Mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl and mix well
  4. Pour the sauce over the chops and turn them in the sauce to cover
  5. Cover and cook on a low light for 15 minutes – turning once during the cooking time
  6. Remove the chops from the pan – slice thinly, discard the bone
  7. Serve drizzled with the sauce and sprinkle with the sesame seeds
  8. Great served with jasmine rice and sautéed sliced mangetout
