Christmas 2020

Dear Customers,

Well what a year so far! I want to take this opportunity and thank you for your custom and support over the years and particularly through this last period.

Quality produce for Christmas looks likely to be as restricted as it has been over the past 6 months! We are expecting stock to be very limited on Free Range Turkeys, Ducks, Geese, and Dry Aged Grass-fed Beef. We will not compromise the quality of our products, so when it’s gone its gone. Therefore, we strongly recommend you order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Given the restrictions on gatherings we are expecting small turkeys to sell out quickly, however if you buy 4kg or 5kg turkey you will have limited extra portions. For great flavour and good quantity of leftovers, I’d recommend ordering slightly bigger when buying your bird, and I will even enclose some great leftover recipe ideas too!

Unfortunately, the traditional queue of Trussell’s Christmas pickup is something we must avoid this year.  We will work hard to manage the queues, but we need your help and co-operation. Ideally, we would like you to pop into the shop to place your Christmas order.  We will give you a pickup day with a 3-hour time slot, which I am sure you will understand that we cannot change.  We are trying to spread the load for everyone’s safety. Plus, due to Covid-19 we will require a deposit on all orders this year.

Deliveries – we will endeavour to deliver to customers in need.  Whilst improved planning will ensure a larger delivery capacity, I am sure you will understand we cannot accommodate every request whilst maintaining Covid safe working procedures. Deliveries will be allocated a on first come first served basis, do please ensure you order right away if delivery is a necessary requirement.

Once again, I can assure you my dedicated team will do all that we can to assist your particular requirements, however I would ask for your patience and understanding

We truly wish everyone a healthy happy Christmas and prosperous new year

Paul and the Team
