On this page you will find our latest’s news and recipe ideas.  Please feel free to share and ask any questions.  We want everyone to start to share recipes, so we can build up our own recipe catalogue, so you can come on here and answers that dreaded question… “What’s for dinner!?”

With Autumn upon us and winter just around the corner, we are wanting to be cosy and enjoy comforting and rich dishes.  This time of year, we do sell a lot of cuts ideal for slow cooking as there is something very comforting coming home to the smells of a home-cooked casserole.

Oxtail is becoming more and more popular and on the recipe feed you will find a lovely Oxtail Casserole, which is a real family winner. If you are lucky to have any left overs, unusual in our household, you can make a lovely hearty soup.  If you love slowing cooking we have put together an ideal meat box for you Long and Slow, which contains Grass Fed Beef Short Ribs, Grass fed diced steak, Blythburgh free range diced pork, diced venison, chicken drumsticks and grass fed oxtail for just £39.99

We are also in the mist of the Game season, and as always, we are stocking a lovely selection of local Venison and our very famous Local Peasants. A nice recipe to try is Venison Osso Buco
